Effective Transsexualism

An initiative to let us survive and thrive under state oppression, and rebuild a vision for our place in the new era.

Who we are

We're a UK-based group formed in the immediate aftermath of April 2025's UK Supreme Court ruling, driven by disillusionment with the existing pro-trans strategy in contrast with the total victory of our enemies.

Our ambitions

We look to make a difference across three areas: Research, Advocacy, and Mutual help.

Mutual help faces inward: by signposting transition resources and creating a focused community we can materially uplift each other.

Advocacy faces outward: as we network and make our thinking known, we can build up our influence within cissexual society and change transsexual culture for the better from within.

Research: Ultimately, knowledge is power. Gathering, analysing, and distilling information is crucial for building up a foundation for both advocacy and mutual help efforts.

In the medium term we will have succeeded if: transsex people gain better situational awareness as produced by our research; our advocacy inspires better efforts; our network is thriving with meetups across the UK for those who would like to get involved, and global connections for those seeking to relocate; our community helps people thrive in spite of state oppression.

In the long term we will have succeeded if better advocacy eventually helps reversing media and public opinion, and removing state oppression in the UK.

What we do

Wiki writing

At present our research efforts focus on building up a knowledge base of threats that might surface, as well as the entities involved.

"Networking"

Skills range from transsex science expertise to great advocacy connections in our extended network. If you'd like to do something in our scope, chances are we could connect you to the relevant people if you get in touch.

We presently run fortnightly meets in London to hang out, discuss, and make progress on our initiatives; it is also where you should meet us if you'd like to get involved! See the Events calendar.

Online spaces

We maintain private online spaces for mutual help and organising.
